Here's a summary of what I'm working on at the moment.

First, a screenplay, or a novella that could become a screenplay. The working title is Spiritual Malady - it's about... shadows. Some concept art is here, here, and here.

I'll also soon put the illustrated stories, Through the Sea and The Gray Sea, into print. They, along with The Invisible Forest, are part of one very long story or set of stories called Lost in the Forest. The Invisible Forest is actually two books: that, and The Impossible Life. And will be followed by a third one I have yet to write. The second thread of this set is one or two more illustrated stories following Through the Sea (which starts at the end of The Impossible Life) and The Gray Sea. Then there is an entirely separate group of short stories I'd like to write, called Tales from the Invisible Forest, which takes place in the same setting. All of this will take many years, God willing. You can't be too self-conscious if you want to do anything, and what else is there to do?

There are plans for several other novels and screenplays I'm attached to, as well as more music, but it feels like bad luck to name them publicly as of yet. If I could, I would do all this and forget about the demands of the world. When I write this here it feels as though the life I went through was a dream and this is the real world I neglected in going out there and living. But I come back here, finally, and my sadness about so much of what happened seems to vanish as this blank black screen becomes the whole view.
